The quality of what you get back from an AI UGC studio depends almost entirely on the quality of what you send in. A vague brief produces a generic ad. A specific brief produces something that sounds made for your brand.
The six things every brief needs
- Your product. What it is and what makes it worth buying. Describe the experience, not a list of features.
- Your customer. The specific person: what problem do they have, what have they already tried, what matters to them?
- The one thing you want them to do. Click a link, visit a listing, follow an account. One action per ad.
- The angle. Price, speed, results, convenience. Pick one angle per ad.
- What to avoid. Claims you cannot make, phrases that feel off brand, competitors you do not want to name.
- Examples you like. A link to one or two ads in your category that work well. Optional but very useful.
A simple template
Product: What it is and what makes it worth buying
Customer: Who has this problem and what does it feel like for them
Angle: The one reason to care
CTA: The one thing you want the viewer to do
Avoid: Claims, phrases or styles that are off limits
Reference: Optional link to an ad you think works well
What to leave out
Leave the hook writing to the studio. Also avoid providing scripts you have already written. Studios produce better results when they write to your brief rather than read back your words.
At TR Digital, once we receive your brief we write the hook and script, produce the AI creator and deliver within four days. See our packages or get in touch to start.
